Tucson tennis club

TUCSON - what's the name of the little community tennis center on the south side of town? It has a small clubhouse and lots of outdoor courts. It is more of a public/municipal venture -- not a private club. Sorry I can't be more specific on location (that's part of my confusion), but I'm fairly certain it was south of downtown.

You can use Google Maps to zoom in on the city and possibly find out. See those little green dots? Those are typically parks and recreation areas. Or, if you've been there and would recognize a birds-eye view, switch over to satellite view.

Best answer: Are you sure it is to the south of Downtown? I live on the south side, and I can't think of any city parks that are Tennis related that is due south of downtown. You might be thinking of Reid Park, which has the Randolph Recreation Complex, which also includes the Randolph Tennis Center . Reid Park is due east of downtown at Alvernon and Broadway.

The main rec center south of downtown is El Pueblo, but I don't remember it having Tennis.

Anyhow, here is the Parks and Rec Center website.

There are also some other parks that might have some tennis...I will try to remember where they are.
