How to find out about traditional music festivals around the world?

Rootstock is a festival in Brazil devoted to Forró music that I stumbled upon. I'd love to know about other festivals around the world that celebrate traditional and/or regional music. Is there a guide? Have any recommendations?

The Barbershop Harmony Society has its yearly convention. I went to it one year and it was wonderful.

The Detroit Electronic Music Festival (a.k.a. Movement or Fuse-in depending on who is running it this year) is supposed to be focused on Detroit artists. These days it's mostly the afterparties featuring local talent, though.

It just happened in June, but maybe the Oldtime Fiddlers Contest in Weiser, Idaho, would be of interest.

DelFest in Cumberland, MD is a bluegrass festival every May.

Certainly a very liberal interpretation of "traditional": CMA Music Festival

it celebrates one artist, but arguably one of the more important singular artists - woodyfest, in okemah, oklahoma.
