BOSS field course?

Anyone taken/know of anyone who has taken a BOSS field course?

A BOSS field course sounds like something I might want to do someday. They teach you outdoor survival with minimal equipment. I already have my own camping/backpacking experiences but these have been basically mainstream. If you have any experiences with alternatives, those are welcome too.

It's high on my list of to-do. You might also want to look into Tom Brown's Tracker School, though I understand he's a bit of an acquired taste. A little bit more of the woo-woo as well.

Also, look into BOSS's skills courses: less physically demanding, no 'impact' phase with no food, and you learn stuff like basic pottery, cordage, fireskills, etc.
