Help me find a body light

I'm looking for something like a laser pointer that can be comfortably and easily attached to one's body. Not a flashlight; this light should show a clear point that can be used to check body alignment.

Attached to what part of the body?

And alignment with what? wouldn't alignment with the rest of the body require at least 2 lights?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by checking body alignment. You can buy LED lights to attach to your fingers, but IMHO to check "alignment" you'd need to determine what you were aligning against another thing otherwise you're just going to see a random light attached from a point on your body to something in space, aren't you?

would you clarify what about a laser pointer makes it inappropriate?

I think the OP is basically looking for a laser pointer that stays on continuously without a button being held down, so (for instance) you could strap it to your forearm with some kind of jig to hold it straight, then track your forearm position through a golf swing or whatnot by following the position of the dot on a surface. Is this right? If so, you might look at laser leveling/positioning tools meant for contractors.

If you have laser pointer with a momentary pushbutton on the barrel, you could adapt it to stay on by finding a tube just barely larger than the pointer in diameter and sliding it over such that it holds the button down.

Something like this?

It's not cheap, mind: AUS$290. And the switch is extra, apparently.

you can cut individual lights off strings of indoor christmas lights and wire each one up to a 9volt battery...then strap it wherever you want.

needless to say, it destroys the christmas light strand, but the only real cost would be the batteries.
