Well written, snarky exploration blogs?

I'm reading through DetroitBlog's archives, and at my rate I'll be finished today. Are there any similar blogs?

I know about Forgotten New York, which I also read. I'm looking for well written, snarky exploration tales, basically. Any city, any country, rural or urban. Something that tells about little-known local histories. As a plus, any spanish blogs would be interesting.

Montreal's Coolopolis might fit the bill.

http://www.sweet-juniper.com/ is also about Detroit and features a lot of photography of abandoned feral buildings. He's a wonderful writer and photographer.
