Hockey blogs of note?

Are there any interesting hockey blogs out there? Like a Free Darko of hockey? Realizing Free Darko's a unique sort of genius.
Response by poster: Millions of peaches: I'm more interested in like maybe irreverent commentary on the current season. If it smacks somewhat of literary genius and weird allusions (Free Darko) it's a double plus.

wyshinski's "Puck Daddy" blog is, while mainstream (it's on yahoo), plenty irreverent. And it comes with a ton of content, some of which is from "The two line pass"
I'm a Habs fan, and I get my daily dose at the (nsfw) Four Habs Fans. Pension Plan Puppets is pretty good if you want to read about the (spit) Leafs.

Down Goes Brown (another Leafs blog) is pretty irreverent and funny.
Black Dog Hates Skunks (Oilers blog, but will discuss non-Oilers related hockey) has an unconventional approach to hockey writing that might be worth checking out. I don't know if I'd classify it as literary genius, but he has a unique voice that seems more like literature than sports writing. Warning: he's very open about his sexual life, so probably nsfw
Seconding Puck Daddy as a mainstream but irreverent blog about the current season.

Japers' Rink is one of the most amazing in-depth statistical analysis of hockey you can find on the web. It's a Caps blog but the staff and all the commenters really know their stuff. If you want to talk hockey in the Eastern conference you can spend hours chatting there a day.
From The Rink is a great blog that covers hockey in general. It has a pretty good following too.

Being a Pittsburgh fan, I follow The Pensblog. You might want to take a look at their sidebars, they link to a ton of other sites, covering both specific teams [broken down by division on the left] and the NHL in general [on the right under the links to other Pittsburgh blogs].

I find the New York Times' "Slap Shot" blog to be informative, and Stu Hackel's "Morning Skate" posts frequently make me smirk, if not giggle.
Meanwhile, Justin Bourne makes me laugh out loud. Repeatedly. :)

From the rink hosted by James Mirtle. Among other activities, he is involved with the McKeen's hockey annual.

That said, Greatest Hockey Legends is a fun read if you're into hockey history and would like to read things like "The Top 10 Hockey Mustaches in History".
Thanks for posting this question--I read a lot of hockey blogs and would love to know if there are any gems out there.
