Face it next season isn't until next year...

Lostfilter: Hey fellow lost fans I have recently started watching Lost re-runs on SciFi and I am noticing a ton of little things that did not make sense then when they aired, but do now when I re-watch them.

I am sure everyone that watches the show has noticed them. For example in the episode where Desmond is a munk and he is being kicked out by the head munk, on the desk there is a picture of the head munk with Daniel Farraday's mother. The first time I saw this episode I didn't pay much attention to it. Now I am seeing things like this all over the place. Anyone else notice anything like this when they re-watch the older episodes?

Definitely. I'm rewatching the entire series with my mom, and I've been really surprised by how often Nadia shows up in characters' (other than Sayid's) flashbacks.

Best answer: What's the question here? If you're wondering if there are a lot of appearances and hidden clues that really only make sense later, then yes, there are. If you're looking for a resource that documents this sort of thing, then Lostpedia is a decent place to start.

The older episodes are like onions to me...I see more and more layers with each re-watch.

Seconding Lostpedia... Also, check out Doc Jensen's columns on EW.com, he gets pretty crazy with his theories, but it's super fun! (Go to Analysis, then along the left side, there are links to the prior seasons).

Have fun!!

Yep, I'm doing a re-watch as well. (Up to "Par Avion" from Season 3). Thirding Lostpedia. There are TONS of hidden things right from the beginning.

Response by poster: I never knew a site like Lostpedia existed........ All this time I thought I was alone (Sniff Sniff) Then I find that nice people have taken time out of their day to have all these random facts and events in one place for me to read about.

Sweet Jebus I think this will take my cyberslacking to a new level.

The suggestion of Lostpedia is a good one. Their blog currently is running a feature called The Lost Rewatch. where they note just exactly the kind of things you mention here. Looks like they're currently up to Season 1 episode 9.

You would love the forums at televisionwithoutpity.com. If you're up for some serious cyberslacking.

I like Sledgeweb the best for these hidden bits (often known as "easter eggs"). Sledgeweb posts HD screen caps of key easter egg moments (eg, camera pans across someone's desk, etc.).

Best answer: I found this blog post that compiles the top ten Lost blogs. There are some blogs that have Lost fandom news (links to Carlton Cuse/Damon Lindelof interviews, cast interviews, notes about the latest cast DUIs or divorces, etc.), and then there are the ones that post screencaps and delve into the major themes and recurring motifs of the show. It looks like a few other blogs are taking the opportunity to do a Lost rewatch besides Lostpedia (which is the ultimate Lost reference). It looks like Sledgeweb's Lost...Stuff is also doing a rewatch. A few tags of interest: 'Lost Rewatch', 'Rewatching Lost', and you can search by season (ex. 'Season One') or by episode title (ex. 'Confidence Man'). Doc Arzt (R.I.P.) is also doing a rewatch. Here's a tag for 'reWatching Lost'. Here, for instance, is a post about season one, episodes 5-8, and at the bottom of the post, you'll note (through more blog links) that a whole slew of Lost blogs are doing the same thing right now. In fact, it looks like they're all rewatching the same episodes at the same time!

Might be useful for additional perspective if you're in the throes of Lost obsessiveness.
