What's the difference between Lexulous and Wordscraper?
Best answer: Lexulous does not have the same board/tiles as Scrabble. But, yes, Wordscraper lets you customize the board and tiles (although it forbids you from customizing them into the standard Scrabble versions).

Best answer: Ah! They changed it. It used to be the same. So...Lexulous has a fixed board that looks kind of like a Scrabble board and has slightly altered but fixed rules/tiles. Wordscraper looks different and is customizable.

Response by poster: The Lexulous board looks a lot like a Super Scrabble board, though. What about the points-per-letter and tile distribution?

Best answer: Wordscraper was replacement for Lexulous after it was taken down due to the legal action. It was based on Scrabulous, but with changes to avoid more legal problems. I only played a couple of games but didn't like it.
When Lexulous returned, it had a few changes to make it just different enough from Scrabble to keep the lawyers happy.
Lexulous gives you 8 tiles instead of the usual 7. I've found this increases the probability of making 7 & 8 (or more) letter words.
A 7 letter word gets a bonus of 40 points, and an 8 letter word gets a bonus of 50 points.
Letter distribution is slightly different - 8 I tiles, 3 S tiles, 3 U tiles
Points are different for some tiles - Z & Q are both worth 12 points, T is worth 2 points.
These are just the ones I noticed off the top of my head, I haven't done a proper comparission so there might be a few other differences with the distribution and scoring.
Only 8 I tiles? Yet I still manage to get FIVE of the damn things at once?

Wordscraper was the replacement for Lexulous Scrabulous. Lexulous is the new name for the rejiggered Scrabulous.

Wordscraper was actually around before Scrabulous was removed.
