what can do what avwin can

is there a freeware program that mimics the capaibilities of avwin very well?
we use autovue for windows in the office to manage cad data studies and transfer of information for general models. however we have a new employee in thai who doesnt have the software license. we can get a rogue copy possibly, but i am wondering if there is a freeware package that does a good job with JT files.
We just need visualisation and to make a few measurements for basic JT models. Any ideas?
