DISASTER!

I'm looking for science experiments about natural disasters...

I'm a volunteer at an after school program for middle schoolers and I want to do some experiments with the students, but I'm only coming up with a few (tornado in a bottle, using playdoh to make earthquake faults). Any ideas for easy to set up, cheap to do experiments?

The ubiquitous vinegar + baking soda volcano!

Could also use a wave tank/box to show how little waves (at the surface) get bigger when approaching a slope a la tsunami.
