I'm looking for some kind of "mirror status" system-dealy

I'm looking for some kind of "mirror status" system-dealy. Basically, i need a listing of mirrors for a file and then a little status indicator next to each mirror showing if its up or not....like what this guy uses. [mi]

Or preferably, something that automatically checks what mirrors are up then randomly redirects to a mirror. I found something like that here but the bastards don't seem to be open for business (they haven't responded to any email and didn't claim any paypal cash).

I'm looking for something premade hopefully, but i'm open to all suggestions.
