Aside from flickr, what are some good websites where I can share/promote/package/sell my photography?

I've been encouraged by friends to share the photos I've taken.

What are some good sites where I can...

- Enter photo contests.

- Sell photos.

- Make books, posters, etc.

SmugMug Pro lets you do something like what you want. It's not free though.

Selling photos? Are you talking Stock Photography? Or Art?

Stock Photography: Fotolia or iStockPhoto.

Art? I dunno.

Photo.net, probably the oldest photo community site still in existence. It's not just for sharing photos, it is also a photography magazine, a photography forum, a classifieds service, etc.

sorry, I should have elabourated on deviant art.

There are contests.

You can set up a shop for a one time fee.

The shop allows you to print and sell your media in all types of formats. (posters, coffee mugs, mouse pads) im not sure about books though.

forums, geoURL, etc.
