Birth Control Vs. The Internet

Which invention is more important: birth control or the internet?
I understand that "more important" is vague - just work with it.
By birth control I refer to everything available since approximately 1950.
Projecting the eventual importance of the 'net is fine since we're here at the web's infancy.
Projecting the eventual widespread availability of B.C. is fine too.
