Tales from the Scoville Scale.

I like spicy food.
I carry around the Galvanized Gullet everywhere and recommend it to likeminded epicures.

I'd like recipes, anecdotes, books, places to go and things to eat.
The higher up on the Scoville Scale the better.

Anywhere in the world; I figure I'll make it around eventually.

I'll start: I once ate Hilsa Sarso in Thimpu; I was later told the base included a ground up Rajmirch. Lovely.

My first enounter with sushi...back in the early 80's. No-one told me what that big dollop of green stuff on the plate was. Thought it was some benign garnish. Popped the whole wad into my mouth at once. Hilarity ensued.
