What should I get with this Best Buy giftcard.....?

I happened upon a $100 giftcard for Best Buy, and I have my mind set on spending it tomorrow. I'm trying not to spend much more than $100, but I can fluctuate a little. So, I know this is a pretty open-ended question, but any suggestions would be solid. Thanks.

This post was deleted for the following reason: is this really a "what should I buy at the store" question? if so, it's way too broad.

or sell it on ebay and then ask us what to do with $98.23 cash

Ooo- I would probably end up blowing the whole thing on different tv shows on DVD. Maybe get a new camera?

It's $100, not $100,000...buy a bunch of DVDs, part of a camera, whatever the hell you've been feigning for....

Just walk in and see what tickles your fancy...

What do you need? Want do you want? What fancies your interest?

We need more information; otherwise, like others suggested, just gets a few DVDs, a new lower-end camera, some computer accessories...

Shredder? UPC? Any equipment needing to be replaced?

If you use iTunes you could buy two of these iTunes Gift Cards. They might have other gift cards you could purchase in store (maybe a Visa prepaid card even?).

Wow, you can't decide what to buy with $100?! I could spend 10 $100 gift cards and still have more in mind!

Send it to me. I'll take care of it.

This is an odd question -- surely there are CDs or DVDs you want? Best Buy doesn't just sell electronics.

Perhaps you're looking for something useful that you wouldn't have thought of otherwise? In that case, I'd suggest a USB flash drive, if you don't have one. It's useful to be able to move files from one computer to another easily.

You also might want to consider an external hard drive. Most people are pretty bad about backing up their data. I just got a terabyte hard drive (that's 1000 GB) from Best Buy for a little over $200, so $100 should get you pretty far.

If you had $80 cash, and you could get $100 worth of stuff at Best Buy with it, would you, or would you keep it for other things? If the latter, and you don't want the hassles of ebay, I've used this gift card buy back site twice with no problems. They'll currently give you $80 for your card. The rates fluctuate with supply and demand. You'd do $10-15 better on ebay, but the convenience might be worth that much.

Actually, I got a Best Buy gift card for $100 from my company around Christmas and once I walked into the store I was shocked at how little I wanted. I have a non-iPod mp3 player, had just gotten a load of CDs and DVDs from my family, and didn't want any computer accessories.

I bought a keyboard. I figured it was something I wouldn't normally get, but it would be nice to have around the house, just to learn on or for my future children to screw around with. I got one with a USB connection so you can download your songs to you computer, plus "Piano for Dummies" for something like $105.

My other idea was to spend it all on AA batteries. Because it would be nice not to run out of AA batteries for awhile.

I've got the same problem - with only a $50 certificate. I can bring myself to purchase anything in Best Buy because it's all so overpriced and I can get pretty much anything in that store online for a 15-50% discount under what they offer it for.
