If you as a human have two rotweilers who are killers coming after you, do you think you could kill both dogs before they could kill you?

Can I pick up a five year old child to use as a club? If so, yes.

Using nothing but my body, no. It would all depend on the environment (anything to climb up on top of or drop on their heads) or any kind of weapon or shielding I had.

Non-chatfilter phrasing: I'm writing a novel in which one of my main characters gets chased by a pair of killer rottweilers. What's the most efficient way to kill them before they kill him? The quickest? The most spectacular? How about only using his bare hands and the elements of his suburban environs? Thanks in advance!

Snarky answer: Yeah, I could kill them. With a gun.

No.

in the movie True Lies, Schwarzenegger manages this by turning abruptly to face the two dogs chasing him and smacking their heads together as if they were two of the Three Stooges.

More realistically you might sacrifice a forearm to block jaws while going for the eyes.

When dogs are attacking you, the most valuable weapon you have is sand. Dogs cannot effectively fend off sand thrown at their faces, so will either stop (if they have had this done to them before), or continue running and get blind for a bit.

I doubt you'd be able to block both dogs' jaws with one arm. I think they can run pretty fast as well - you'd need an environment that favoured you even for the gun solution unless they start off a way away from you.

Without weapons you are pretty much screwed against two of them. Dogs attacking will try and get behind you, you can stare one down but the second will keep coming.

If the dogs are killers, trained or wild, and they are also large and bred for attack like rottweilers, you are not going to outrun them or outfight them without help.

Throwing things, climbing, slashing at them with long sticks or such are the only things that will delay them, but if they are intent on killing you and you're unarmed and unable to climb or shut them behind a gate or door, you're out of luck.

You might survive an attack by one if you are strong and as mentioned above, willing to sacrifice an arm.

not without sustaining serious injury, if at all.
also, this is pretty chatfiltery.

Probably not.

I had a gigantic dog attack me while jogging once, and I panicked and threw a wild punch to the dog's head just as he jumped to rip out my neck. Knocked his ass on the ground, whimpering and slobbering. I was so pissed that there were no witnesses... I felt like an action hero.

two dogs would be tough. like markobich said, throw sand.

Wield a Chinese Crested like a talisman, as a cross before a vampire.

Jesus, the commentary on that video is disturbing.

If the dogs were attack-trained and going after you there's no way you'd be able to fend them off. Full grown male rottweilers are about 120 pounds, all muscle. If attack trained they won't give up, either. (I am thinking that might be your question, the video aside that aren't too many situations where you'd be attacked by 2 dogs, just randomly.)

not without a grenade.
maybe a speeding car.

Dogs that have been trained to attack humans, particularly breeds that already have an aggressive streak, are the closest thing I've ever seen to Terminator-style aggression. The only thing close is maybe a person amped up on PCP or other drugs (which I've never witnessed personally, but I've talked to some people in law enforcement who have). Of course, this makes me immediately wonder what an aggressive dog on PCP would be like, but honestly I'd just prefer not to know.

I think your best bet might be Mace or some other CN/pepper-type product. I've heard that they really stop dogs (and other animals with sensitive noses and eyes, e.g. bears) cold, even better than shooting them in some cases.

If you wanted an angle from which to research this topic, I'd suggest talking to some animal-control experts, and ask them what they'd do, or want to do, if attacked by a big, aggressive dog that was probably rabid.

Not together. Your only chance is to slow or injure one, and then turn to deal with the second, and then come back to the first before it recovers.

So, if they're running at you together, move laterally so one can't get to you because the other is in the way. Use some false move to get it off-balance, and then deliver a good kick to its ribcage or belly. Hopefully, it knocks the wind out of it, and it wouldn't be any good for fighting for at least 20 seconds.

Two, I think is possible, but three or more is unlikely.
