Doh! I let my Oink account lapse. I see they no longer have either an open chat room anymore. So does anyone know where I should go to sweet talk my way back in?

I got in last time by displaying my dazzling wit, but alas I don't even know where to go to mingle with the Oink cool kids now, so if anyone could point me in the right direction I'm much appreciate it.

Hm. If I were you I would ingratiate myself in various online music communities and use your dazzling wit to score yourself an invite....

yes, sneakin, but that is against the OiNK rules. Giving invites to already kicked-out members.

If the only thing you've done wrong is let your account time out even though you were otherwise in good standing, you can get invited back again (if someone else will invite you). If your account wasn't in good standing when it expired, or if you were banned instead of timing out, then you can't, and anyone inviting you back risks their own privileges.

If your account wasn't disabled for inactivity, but for some more specific offense, there's a "Chat" link on the website that lets non-members talk to staff about a second chance via a java IRC client.

Prospective invites, supposedly. (Can't vouch for legitimacy.)

i lost my invite rights, after inviting some randoms from forums. so a lot of people are now hesitant to hand them out.
