Is world peace possible?
Will we ever end world hunger? Will we ever end war? Will we ever end racism? Will there ever be world peace?

Nope. As long as there is good, there will always be evil.

It's entirely possible we'll think of something worse to replace all those things. That's the way it usually goes, doesn't it?

Maybe you should ask a less cynical bunch...
No, no, no, and.... NO.

Maybe, maybe, no, maybe and no.
(That last 'no' is the one where I ask if there will ever be an end to chatfilter questions.)

I hope none of those things go away, because they're all an integral part of my automobile decoration. Especially the bumper.

World peace is not possible as long as man has ambition. Resources are unequally distributed, causing struggle for more. Religious ideals differ, ingrained so deeply that people will kill for them. Even if resources are distributed evenly, differing needs will cause troubles, and distributing according to need will upset those who cannot understand the needs of others. Even if we have but one religion, varying ideas about it will cause strife.
Ending world hunger is possible, although highly unlikely. Altruism is difficult enough to find in people, let alone nations. Even should we make strides towards such a thing, it will only encourage greater population growth, causing more difficulties.
Ending racism is possible, and perhaps even likely if we maintain a civilization that has current levels of modern travel. However, nationalism will still stand and be as troublesome as racism.
However, I can think of one solution that would solve all of these problems permanently and without fail. It would guarantee that no man goes hungry ever again, people would no longer fight war, or even know what war is, and there would be no racism or even basis for such.
The death of all humanity.
I think even with the tragedies and flaws in the world, we're doing pretty good. Still, if you insist on solving the world's problems (and I don't mean by some crackpot nuclear holocaust), look into VHEMT.

As an added bonus, VHEMT offers a strong chance at solving global warming, winning the war on terror, eliminating all corporate corruption, stopping election controversies, destroying the partisan divide, and eradicating all crime of any sort.
On the other hand, these problems would persist through our lives, and once they were fixed, nobody would be around to appreciate the fact. A bit of a trade-off.
