MetaTalk is not working

Is Metatalk down? I can get to MeFi and AskMe but not MeTa. I get this error: Firefox can't find the server at metatalk.metafilter.com. I tried looking at status.metafilter.com and got the same error. (I know this kind of question goes in MetaTalk but I obviously can't put it there.)

To add to these tales of woe, I couldn't get to Metafilter earlier today. Ask and Talk were fine. Connected to Matt's tomfoolery with the header graphics?

wrighty@home:~$ host metafilter.com

Host www.metafilter.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

ask.metafilter.com is an alias for metafilter.com.

ask.metafilter.com is an alias for metafilter.com.
Looks like the record for www.metafilter.com is wonky.

metafilter's DNS zone is served by the eod.com name servers, which were inaccessible last night. They were back on line this morning, and serving the zone, but the server itself seemed to be having other problems, earlier, which have also apparently cleared up.
