Is there a wedding website host that doesn't share information?

My sister is getting married next year, and she has been reluctant to use wedding host websites (like theknot.com) that share information with 3rd party vendors or anyone else.
She realizes that having a centralized hub for information is beneficial, but she doesn't want all the junk that comes with it.
Does anyone know of a site that hosts a temporary wedding site (paid or unpaid) that doesn't share personal info? She already has a throwaway email for wedding stuff but hates the spam she already receives. She is super anti-sharing (a tale for another day). Thanks!

Response by poster: - Yes, and thank you! She is looking for something "easy" that she can edit on her own. I can set her up a website, but I don't have the time to maintain it for the next year. We are looking for something fairly automated if it exists!

Best answer: Sounds like she might like carrd, which is all about single page sites, but you can make sectioned ones that act kind of like multiple pages. Links to other non-wedding branded services like a calendar of events, a small image gallery of the wedding party members, and a wishlist.com link for a registry could all be included, as well as some FAQ-like sections on the page itself.
If she wants to go for a bit of millenial nostalgia, and doesn’t care if the site looks pristine and like every other wedding website in the universe, there’s neocities.

Best answer: I used Tumblr for this purpose, which worked just fine and was very easy to set up. She could also make a Google Doc or even a Facebook event if she wants setup to be extremely easy.

Best answer: What if she kept the information in a Word/PowerPoint document in Dropbox and shared the link with people who needed the information? It's about as controlled as you can get.

Best answer: If the throwaway wedding email is Gmail, then a Google Site might be an easy website to set up. It's not specifically wedding themed, but that sounds like that might be fine. It's pretty easy to use

For the wedding website itself, I just rolled my own.
For a registry, giftyweddings.com is pretty good.
