Scent free conditioner for wavy (2a) hair?

My formerly scent-loving partner has developed some kind of sensitivity to smells. The only shampoo he can tolerate is baby shampoo. My products are all for wavy, frizzy hair so they’re heavily scented. Any ideas for reasonably priced odour free conditioners available in Canada?

I know it might be down to particular ingredients but as of now it’s the smell of things that bugs him.

Curlsmith has a fragrance free line! Pricey but I love their stuff.

If you want to order from one of the custom hair care services like Function of Beauty or Prose, you can always choose the unscented option.

Best answer: I have type 2a/b hair and I like The Ordinary conditioner. It is fragrance free. If you live somewhere with an Ordinary store or a Sephora, you can get it there. Or you can order online.

The conditioner subcategory of Well.ca's hair care section includes products by Attitude and The Honest Company, both of which offer well regarded and reasonably priced ($13 Canadian and under, which seems reasonable in these times, sigh) options to which scent has not been added.

Attitude Oatmeal Sensitive Care Conditioner received a thumbs up in this roundup, and Attitude is a Canadian company, so you should be able to track it down without (too much) difficulty.

Also, the Well.ca site that I linked above sells a conditioner by The Unscented Company that is $13 Canadian and gets decent reviews both on Well.ca and elsewhere.

Try searching for hair conditioner base, it's sold for people who want to make their own by adding their own fragrances, so it's neutral. You may even be able to find it bulk wholesale.

I like the Desert Essence scent-free conditioner. I found it at my local health food store and in the organic section of a nearby Superstore but it’s also at well.ca.

Jessicurl products all allow you to select from different fragrances, including no fragrance. I've never used their shampoo/conditioner, but I like their styling products (your hair sounds very similar to mine). And they have a list on their website of Canadian stores that carry their stuff!

Vanicream is cheap but works well for my wavy hair, and is free of a bunch of other stuff people with wavy/curly hair tend to want to avoid.
