Sending Gift To Canada Via Amazon--How To?
October 28, 2022 1:17 PM Subscribe
Person A lives in Canada, has an Amazon.ca account and a wish list on the Amazon.ca account.
Person B lives in the US, has an Amazon.com account, but wants to send a gift to Person A from Person A's Amazon.ca's wish list.
How does this work? Does Person B need to create an Amazon.ca account as well? What are the steps that Person B will have to take to send the gift to Person A? Will it be so complicated that Person B will wind up not bothering?
Thanks!
Best answer: Yes I use both Canadian and US Amazon, and I just sign in to whichever one (.com or .ca) I want to use. Be careful on the app though, you can switch between with a few taps - I have ordered on the wrong one out of haste and that was a shipping charge I do not care to repeat.

Best answer: Yeah, just make an account on Amazon.ca. It's easy.

Best answer: I've got Amazon accounts for Canada, the US and Japan. Makes it much easier to send things to people instead of buying here and then shipping myself.

Best answer: I live in Canada but have family in the US, and my log in is the same for both. It functions like one account but shows different items and shipping options depending on whether you go to .com or .ca. (And I can't use .com gift cards on .ca)

I've logged into and bought stuff from Amazon US and Amazon Germany using my Amazon UK account details. As far as I know you can use one Amazon account for any of their regional sites.

Yes, I think this is the way. I've done this for Amazon Japan to send a gift in Japan and it was pretty easy.
