Best counter-service dining in European theme parks?

I'm going to be spending part of May in Europe and plan to hit up Efteling and Europa-Park while I'm there. It's easy to find information on the rides, but harder to figure out what the can't-miss food options are. So if anyone has personal experience - what are the must-do food options at those parks?

I haven't been in the Efteling for 40 years so I probably shouldn't give any advice on this but in general, in the Netherlands the food at themeparks and the likes isn't very good.

I do see they have a restaurant serving "poffertjes" which are a sort of mini pancakes and generally delicious. You can't do much wrong with those and as a plus you'll be having some local cuisine.

Best answer: At Efteling, I'd get poffertjes at 't Poffertje, a spiral potato thing at De Eigenheymer, and an oliebol at the Hollandsche Gebakkraam (typically a New Years thing but I think they serve them year-round). There are also a few places where you can get fried snacks from an automat, though if you're in the Netherlands anyway you can just hit up a FEBO for that experience. There's a restaurant called De Meermin that has herring, but I don't know if it would be as good as what you'd get at a proper fishmonger. I've had beef stew at Het Witte Paard before and it was okay, but it's not worth going out of your way unless you need some non-snack food.
