Songs about limerence

I feel like I'm on an edge of falling into limerence, again. Being older and maybe wiser, along with reading about the mechanics of limerence, is so far is helping me be in a place of mindfulness about it, rather than losing my mind. I'd love a soundtrack of songs to listen to that capture what limerence is like, especially how it's utterly consuming despite simultaneously knowing you're in a state and the desired connection is unfulfillable.

Please recommend songs about limerence. Any kind of music. Music is getting me through times when I'm avoiding being around the person I'm so stuck on, as well as reminding me I'm not the only person who gets this way and to be a little kinder to myself. If you've been here, then you know I need hours worth of songs to help distract me!

I don't know if any of this is what you're looking for, but 30% of the Magnetic Fields album "69 love songs," several tracks from the "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" soundtrack, "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter" (most notably recorded by Fats Waller), and the White Stripes' "Take, Take, Take" capture some of that for me. I'm tempted to suggest Tori Amos (Little Earthquakes among others) and Kate Bush (Never for Ever), but I can't entirely tell if that's just because I listened to them so often as a teenager or if they really capture the same emotion for other people. Best wishes and don't forget to enjoy the enjoyable parts.

Everyday -Buddy Holly
Why Do Fools Fall in Love: Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers
Sea of Love: Phil Phillips
It's Only Make Believe

Nice seeing this word in the wild ("limerence")

If you haven't listened to it too many times today (like I have), Fade Into You by Mazzy Star.. and then the whole album, twice.

I used to keep an unrequited love playlist because of a nearly-fatal crush that began when I was fifteen, and long carried on doing so occasionally for sentimental reasons, so please enjoy the fruits of that. Some of it is overwrought in an appropriately adolescent way.

Too Much Joy Crush Story
Mika I See You, Good Wife
Semisonic Bed
Lowen & Navarro Maybe Later
Ani DiFranco O.K., Loom, Heartbreak Even, Carry You Around
indigo girls Ghost, Blood & Fire, Mystery
Melissa Etheridge Like the Way I Do, The Angels
Nick Drake One of These Things First
George Harrison I'd Have You Anytime, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
Ben Lee Ache For You
Dan Bern One Dance
Sugarcubes Hit
The Happy Fits Hold Me Down
The Thorns I Told You, Such a Shame
The Jayhawks All the Right Reasons
Bonnie Raitt I Can't Make You Love Me
Orchestra JB Come Alive
Whiskeytown Crazy About You
Suzanne Vega Marlene on the Wall
Kings of Convenience Sorry or Please, Parallel Lines
Elvis Costello Sneaky Feelings
Yeah Yeah Yeahs Maps
Del Amitri Sometimes I Just Have to Say Your Name

Just off the top of my head:

Probably the best ever song about limerence is "Laid" by James

A bunch of songs by Garbage -- "You Look So Fine" and "Vow" and "Number One Crush" for example

Beyonce -- "Halo"

The Cardigans -- "Lovefool"

T.a.t.u. -- "All the Things She Said"

Berlin -- "Take My Breath Away"

Chris Isaac -- "Wicked Game"

Someone already said Suzanne Vega "Caramel"

Possibly Baby's Arms by Kurt Vile, with the Sadies. I didn't really like KV until I heard that track .. then I was like, "ah, ok."
