Using essential oils in home crafts — what's your favorite info source?

Where should I go for practical, reliable, low-woo information about how to use essential oils for scenting homemade hair products? I have specific scents in mind and want to create my own recipe using them. Google is turning up mostly SEO-bait-looking sites with wildly contradictory information on basic questions like "How much EO do I use?" I know I should plan on doing some trial and error. But I'd like a starting point, maybe some 101-level instructions and principles. Is there a book or site aimed at practical crafters that I can read?

Response by poster: Er, to clarify, at least at first I'm looking at buying premade shampoo and conditioner base to add essential oils to. So I'd be fine with a source on DIY soapmaking if it had a good section on scents, but I'd also be fine with a source that just covered the scent part if that was a thing.

Youtube is my go-to for soap and cosmetics. This video says 30 drops per 100ml of unscented shampoo base.

This may go deeper than you're interested in but I've always wanted to try out some of Humblebee and Me's recipes - she researches and tests thoroughly.
