MS Office Upgrade

Will I lose files by upgrading my version of MS Office from 2002 to 2003 Professional?

I currently have MS Office 2002 on my system here at work. I want to install MS Office 2003 Professional so that I can use Publisher that comes with it.
Is there anything I need to do before installing the new version to avoid over-writing or losing my current files?

You shouldn't have any problems, but if you want to be safe, burn all of your documents to CD. If you don't have a burner, zip them up and email them to yourself.

Office 2002 i believe is for the MAC.

Office 2003 is for Windows.

If your still using a MAC obviously you cant upgrade to Office 2003. If your using a PC then i see no problems.

Dreamghost: Office 2002 = Office XP

And yeah, your Office documents are completely and entirely seperate from Office itself. You could uninstall it completely, and your documents won't go anywhere.

You could do a custom install and install only publisher leaving all your current Office progs as they are.

It's never a bad idea to back up your crap, but you're very unlikely to have problems with upgrading Office eating yoru data.
