Mystery space birds.

I was at the Very Large Array yesterday and found this nest of chicks in the shade next to a radiotelescope. What are they?

Very likely a barn swallow, based on the nest. They are lovely birds with freakish looking chicks.

Yeah those look just like the barn swallows we get every year
