Showering twice a day

See extended explanation.

Since I was in primary school, this was my routine :

1) Wake up and take a shower to eliminate bodily oils and straighten out my hair . I'm a guy, but my average hair length got progressively longer since adolescence and by the time I got to college I would stay as long as 3.5 months without a single haircut (although for every haircut I went the shorter way).

2) Take a shower before bed.

The biggest drawback? Taking a shower in the morning caused me to waste time before going to early morning classes (which weren't many, less than one per semester but at least one every other semester), prompting me to be late a few minutes or so. I hated sitting near the professor (for the fear that he would ask me questions, or for the fear that I had to speak up) like everyone else, so the back seats would fill up really quickly.

Also, I never wore slippers or foot protection when using public shower booths (although I was only sharing two with five or six people) so I could have picked up some foot fungus along the way, but I don't remember having visibly noticeable degrees of athlete's foot.

How often do people take showers, by the way?

This post was deleted for the following reason: This is not a question and you need to stop asking vague questions about showers -- restless_nomad
