Re-ask : Bare foot in dorm room showers

Refer to the extended explanation section. I decided to post the entire thing there for the sake of editing and readability.
Freshman year
4 floors, 597 residents, 6 houses, at least one male bathroom per house floor
4 shower stalls per bathroom , so 12 people sharing four shower stalls
College housekeeping services wiped the stalls once a day, but I'm not sure how clean the water with which the stalls were wiped were clean themselves...
I once cleaned my bin with shower stall water then threw away the residue somewhere (I hope it wasn't the shower stall...
Sophomore, Junior and Senior years
4 floors, 54~60 residents, one bathroom per gender per floor
At least one suite per floor
2 shower stalls per bathroom, so 6~7 people sharing two shower stalls
Again, college housekeeping services wiped the stalls once a day, but (again) I'm not sure how clean the water with which the stalls were wiped were clean themselves...
All the shower stalls are tiled stalls, unlike the tubs we see in the usual civilian houses.
In such conditions,
1) Would many male college students wear the same outdoor footwear to shower stalls (i.e. flip-flops or crocs worn outside and then taken to shower stalls during showers?)
2) Would going barefoot during showers in these conditions be real dangerous?
3) How often do college males take showers? I took two showers a day but I'm guessing many people shower less.
Other of my habits :
1. I wore flip-flops once getting to my room, meaning I let my shoes dry after having worn them outside
2. I changed socks daily (and I changed underwear daily too)
3. I did my laundry at least once a week, using detergent and hot drying
4. I had four towels(or five) which I seldom used more than twice (I think...)
