Transracial Sensitivity

I skew very liberal and am always looking for ways to expand my cultural sensitivity, so it bothers me that I find myself siding with Tucker Carlson in this debate. What are some good sources that can better help me understand the guest's rationale?

I thought this issue had been addressed with the whole Rachel Dolezal scandal. Is she now more deserving of forgiveness and respect?

(And for the record, I absolutely detest Tucker and his rabid, alt-right, regressive propaganda.)
