A misremembered Feynman video perhaps?

I seem to remember a video where (perhaps!) physicist Richard Feynman described what was in a box by rolling, hefting, and otherwise manipulating it until he was able to describe the object inside. My memory says it was Feynman, but I have never been able to find the video evidence since. Perhaps one of you remembers this video and who the subject was and can link me to it. I found it a particularly great example of deductive reasoning and am keen to refer to it once again.

In my memory, that was Linus Pauling on an episode of 3-2-1 Contact. I can't find a link to confirm this.

rlk, you're right! Here's a video of a lecture (in which they play the Linus Pauling clip you mention).

Brilliant. That's it. I knew it was someone smart ;-)

I'm crushed that I can't seem to find the original video (the link from katecholamine is a video of a video with potato quality, unfortunately). It is such a power lesson.

At least I can credit the correct scientist now. Cheers!
