A Viking helmet, maybe?

I wish to be comfortable in bed.
I'm curious what everybody likes that makes them comfortable in bed. Things you need or do, that when you don't have them, you don't feel right without. I'm interested in anything, conventional or unconventional, simple or elaborate, obvious and easy to overlook or subtle but significant.
For me, conventional and obvious would be good sheets. I never knew what I was missing all those years that I only had decent sheets. Unconventional and subtle would be keeping my foot callouses in check, so I can FEEL the sheets. I also am a covers hog, because I wrap them around my legs so they don't touch each other, even when wearing long sweats to bed, and the rest of my body needs to be touching the covers like I'm recreating a cocoon, not just draped over me.
What say you?
