a catalogue of regrets

I am exploring this part of the human experience more in depth recently and would like for you to contribute to my list.
We focus so much on success and positive thinking to the point of being pathologically optimistic about everything at all times but life feels so one-sided when brushing off failures and regrets and not making them part of the larger dialogue. Don't our regrets add texture to our life experience as well? What are all the different kinds of things one can regret? What are some specific kinds, like buyer's remorse, post-coital regret, the taboo regret of having children?
