What does the west have to gain by allowing Iran Nuclear power?

Whenever I try to look this up all I get are a bunch of results about "the bomb"... but nothing about what the west really gets out of a deal.

The only thing I can think of is oil which Iran is rich in. Taking off the sanctions would give some western nations access to the oil which I suppose would help the global economy?

Some people like to blame Isreal for being up in arms about the whole thing, but in reality most countries in the world aren't keen on Iran having access to nuclear stuff, including China and most muslim nations. Keeping this in mind and the fact that Iran has been known to lie big time in the past in regards to not wanting to build nukes- a deal seems to be mostly one sided. Unless I just don't understand just how low the levels of global oil are or something.

Perhaps those with more knowledge can help me out with this. Is the advantage about access to oil reserves? Or is there something else?
