Identify this t-shirt?

Does anyone recognize the t-shirt with a stylized bear logo worn here by J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr)? Is it a logo for something or a one-off design?

I just saw him wearing this at a gig. I thought it looked much more fluorescent in real life but that might have been the stage lights.

J is the one with the jazzmaster.

FYI, "mishka" is Russian for "bear."
