Where can I get access to product lists databases?

I'm looking for access to product lists of CDs, books, movies and any other entertainment type stuff for a web application I'm working on. I'm already aware of Amazon Web Services and the Library of Congress Z39.50 Gateway. Anyone know of any other places to get data on, say, movies in theater or TV shows or less mainstream CDs, etc?

freedb for CDs... you can find LOTS of obscure/less mainstream CDs there.. It's used by lots of CD player / CD ripper programs to query for track info...

I'm not sure if there's any kind of API to access their data, but IMDB has pretty much every movie and TV show you can think of, and loads of info on them.

Alexandria (an open-source book management program) connects to some UK and European databases, in addition to Amazon.com and LOC. You can find the complete list on the Alexandria web site.
