Rise of the Middle Class and Nullification of Corporatism

Circa 2010 and onward information on any subject is nearly free, social networking and communities at full throttle, mobile communication cheap enough, air transportation fees getting lower with high tech materials. So these make up the perfect combo for the middle class prosper excluding the 3rd world countries (which are next in queue). At these conditions what are the props for corporatism not collapse? Can you elaborate with links? Will the corporates come down and small sized companies prevail?
