Problem with animated gifs or pages with a large number of images.
Using win7 and having tried in chrome, firefox and ie, the problem remains. I like to browse imgur so you can understand the frustration, but this also happens on tumblr, buzzfeed or other popular, image-heavy sites. A page of 20 images will load perhaps half. It's pretty inconsistant though, sometimes there's no problem. If I reload the page enough times the gif will sometimes load fully and play, but not always.
I have buttloads of bandwidth, and I've never heard my mrs complain about similar problems despite similar browsing habits. I've emptied my cache. What now?

Response by poster: I have 6 gigs. The problem remains even if I shut down all my other apps and check that their processes are killed.
