High order normal forms in database theory eliminate redundancy, but sometimes at the cost of feasible usability. Sorry, just finished an exam...

Planning doesn't always work, for lots of reasons, not least of which is Parkinson's law.
Also: honesty. Great in theory. Mixed results in practice.
