Mystery weed ID

I need help identifying this plant: photo 1 / photo 2. It's growing on the edge of a parking lot in Largo, MD, USA.

Some type of Rumex, commonly called Sorrel.

Might be a variety of Butterfly Weed - Asclepias tuberosa - hard to tell without open flowers, but you might check it out on Google Images.

If it a milkweed (Asclepias) it will ooze white latex-like sap if you break the stem. Just don't lick your fingers afterwards, the stuff is toxic. aryma is right though, if you can find any in flower, your odds of an ID go way up. If you're too late for flowers, mature fruits might also help.
