Using only one word, how would you describe your school-based physical education experience? Please focus on physical education as part of a school curriculum, not your experiences in extra curricular athletics.
Full Disclosure: I prepare pre-service physical education teachers in the United States. I am trying to help my students understand the public perception of physical education (i.e., gym) in schools.

(Oh, and based on the demographics here, I'm betting you're going to get a LOT of negative replies. See above as well as.... "stupid" "pointless" "embarassing". Not exactly a great place to be asking this if you're looking for positive feedback at all.)

Insufficient (for the parts where we stood around all the time)
Abusive (for the parts where students and teachers picked on or hurt me)
