Is my Laudunum still safe?

Is my Laudunum still good?
I did an extraction process on some poppy pods from a batch I knew to have active morphine. This was about six months ago. I did it with 20 poppy pods and 3 is a highly active morphine dosage.
I ended with about 5 oz of highly concentrated poppy pod "tea." Typically if left out overnight it takes on a strange smell, and after two days it will become dangerous to consume (due to mold or bacteria, I don't know, I'm not a biologist).
I combined this 5oz with 5oz of 80 proof vodka and have stored it in a glass bottle in my closet. It is 20% alcohol.
I would like to consume it, but do not ever view risking my health worth any sort of high. In fact, this is the reason I basically quit--but that's another story.
So does anyone know if a 20% alcohol by volume solution, that would otherwise go bad, is safe? If it's most definitely safe I will drink a little, and then more, just to be sure. Can bacteria/mold grow in the bottle? There is a cloud of small particles at the bottom that could just be unfiltered particles joined together, or mold, I have no idea.

This post was deleted for the following reason: This doesn't seem like a good use of Ask MetaFilter. -- mathowie
You can consult this ABV chart. Things do grow in wine, roughly what you've got, but not very quickly. To be clear: I'm neither saying nor implying it's ok to drink.
