Atheists, what is the meaning/purpose of your lives? I am curious... as I am in search of meaning in my life.

Don't have one. Fine with it. Not being flip.

I'm an atheist buddhist. I don't believe in some ultimate purpose or meaning. In fact, I think life is more enjoyable when I don't weigh it down with some externally-imposed meaning.

The larger human purpose is to ensure the survival of our species. My individual purpose is to contribute to that, to the best of my desire and ability - no, not just by having babies, but by supporting human society and seeking to micro influence it in a way that leads to healthy, happy, productive citizens.

The meaning and purpose in my life? Probably to be happy and to be a good person. At least, those are the things I want my life to be. I don't know if I think of it as my "purpose" or that I feel like I need my life to have a "purpose."

The meaning of my life is to make the most of my time on this planet, and hopefully to make that time productive and enjoyable. I also happen to have children so I believe that part of my purpose is to raise them to be responsible, loving, productive, artistic adults.

My ambition to become a published novelist.
My boyfriend and partner of nearly six years.
My ambition to start a career in law enforcement as a step on the road to reducing and repairing the harm humans cause to each other with violence.
My relationships with family and friends.

Unbridled self-indulgence. Of course, I'm a very boring person, so my idea of a wild night is to make some homemade Hungarian mushroom soup* and drink a bottle of grapefruit Izze soda while I sit on my couch and watch opera dvds, so I'm not the second coming of Heliogabalus or anything.

I believe that it's important to be decent to people, but my deep introversion means that I think it's best to be decent to people from as far away as possible.

*there is nothing in life as fine as Hungarian mushroom soup.

The question doesn't even parse. You could just as reasonably asked me what the cardinality of my life is. Meaning is not a concept which inheres in the concept of human life.

You're asking yourself what the purpose of your life is, and getting no answer. Respectfully, you are asking the wrong question. Try asking yourself this: what shall I do with my life. There are other questions as well, which you may try.
