I Need a Mentor (in International Development)

I'm young, scared and in need of guidance from someone older and wiser. If there are any MeFi's in the international development profession, I'm talking to you.

I graduated from college last year, am working abroad and scared out my mind that I haven't made the right choices in regards to my career in international development. If there is anyone I can talk to regarding this, please let yourself be known.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Heya, I feel for you but askme isn't really a place to go fishing for private conversation like this. If you want to give this another shot more as a small set of answerable questions that people can address in answers in the thread rather than a request for email, that'd be fine. -- cortex

I worked in international development after college and would be happy to talk. Memail me.

Me too. I'm likely to be a pretty poor career advisor, but if you need multiple points of view, we can give it a whirl via memail.

I'm not directly in international development but in the periphery. I have otoh given career advice to graduate students professionally. Be happy to try to help if I am able.
