How is morality intertwined with maintaining our environment?

Help me make a presentation about the moral aspect of harming our environment!

For theology class I am presenting environmental issues such as pollution, wasting food, global warming, e-waste as moral issues.....

Does anyone have any videos, articles, or resources that could be of assistance in making this an interesting presentation?

Also, I am required to provide a thoughtful reflection in the beginning of my presentation. Is anyone familiar with a relevant reflection?

This post was deleted for the following reason: this is way too "do my homework for me" and less "I need help on an aspect of some of my homework" -- jessamyn

Presumably you need to decide in advance of asking for any and all recommendations on at least a general moral evaluation of the way an individual or society should interact with the environment, or else you're going to be regurgitating other people's ideas instead of criticising or bolstering them and the professor will pick up on this.

What instructions did your instructor give you? Surely you have a syllabus, or were told to see a librarian or to consult the teacher or teaching assistant. Is the research component not part of the grade itself?

The library is the place to start research for this project.

What they're trying to say is: Metafilter isn't supposed to do your homework for you.

You might find these biblical references useful.

And this page deals with gluttony and waste.

The March issue of Backpacker magazine contains an article [Hike. Pray. Protest. on P.80) about a Christianist movement towards environmental stewardship, focusing on an organization protesting mountaintop coal removal. Unfortunately, I can't find a copy of the article online.
