Karma

Just curious, to what extent have you experienced that karma has "kicked in" when someone has done something particularly bad or good; and when its not evidenced itself, how do you rationalize its "failure" if you believe in it...???

I'm not so much interested in your stories when it works, I'm interested in your rationale why it doesn't work IF you believe in it...

Karma is a form of hope, and sometimes hopes don't play out.

Karma is not meant to be some moral credit card with a rewards system. Your actions constitute who you are. That's all it means.

Response by poster: Agreed. But in general usage, karma is construed to mean that if one engages in a "negative" act", a consequence will kick in, at some point in the future. that is how the term is used.
