Dear hive, I'm picking your collective brain : what (un)usual annoying little habits of other people are getting on your nerves ?

The usual suspects are : noise from upstairs, bad breath, coworker that can't stop talking, etc.

- What annoying little habit of your fellow humans is a sure-fire way of getting on your nerves ?

- What is the most unusual, off-the-beaten-path annoying little habits you've met ?

One time my Ask MeFi question got deleted as chatfilter. And afterwards I couldn't understand why I hadn't seen it myself in advance. It had been clear cut. It was as if my chatfilter-filter had just catastrophically failed at the critical moment.

Sorry about that, mods.

You've been here nine years and you don't know how Ask Metafilter works? Did you buy your account or something?

At the moment, I am pretty ticked off that my (expensive, organic) milk keeps magically evaporating in the office fridge. Unfortunately, it's not the type of place where I can write "I spat in this" on the carton!

What's particularly annoying is I'm fairly certain that it's not one person taking enormous gulps of sweet milky moo, just a bunch of people taking a splash in their coffee and figuring it won't matter.

Interrupting... I have a friend who just won't let you get a sentence out, she always monster-trucks over it, which can get pretty wearing... she just has one of those really loud, piercing voices!

That's my two hundredths of a dollar.

On topic.
Some of the speaking habits that get REALLY get on my nerves:

1) "You really want to do that? Really?"

2) "Ummm..... No." (alternately, "Ummm.... Yeah.")

3) "Just sayin'."

I think the standard procedure is to write "Milk Experiment" on it. And/or add a drop or two of green food coloring.

I have a friend who tries to finish my sentences. He doesn't know what I'm going to say, but he still tries. Makes me want to end each one in a surprise twist.
