College Essay on Current Gaza Conflict: HELP!!!

Seeking to do an essay on the current/latest Israeli/Palestinian Conflict in 3 pages or less...
From the directions of the assignment (my apologies to my prof): Select a topic on the Middle East that is of interest to you that has occurred between the time frame of 1797 to present date.
Criteria:
With this article as a sort of conclusion (as to say, "since the conflict, Hillary has pulled a full 180..."), I really want to basically put the current conflict in a nutshell with a touch of opinion. Information I imagine can span the following: Start/End date, rough estimate of casualties (even qualitative; i.e. rough ratio of israeli:palestinian deaths), opinions from side 1, side 2, and observers (i.e. general conclusion from the gazillion MeFi posts and especially comments on the topic).
Now, I am not asking for a debate here like we have seen before with an average of 282 comments between the three links. Perhaps a consolidation of the mess would be perfect please.
Thank you hivemind as always, greatly appreciated.
PS: Citations made in the wikipedia article on the conflict, so long as they are the best possible sources, are fine. But seeing that the current wiki article on it is unlocked and disputed on several fronts, please refrain as best as possible from using that as a recommendation.

Criteria:
- 3 typed pages
- 2 cited sources required (at least)
- Due in slightly over a month from now, yet it is spring break for a couple more days and I would like to have this nailed.

This post was deleted for the following reason: while it's okay to have people give you ideas on how to write a paper, this is really over the "please help me do my homework" line right over into "please do my homework" -- jessamyn
Are you serious?
