This American Life episode with a story about a dog named "Pasta-Batman"?

I was having lunch with a vendor yesterday who was telling us about his dog Pasta-Batman who recently passed away and his brush with fame on TAL. I can not find what episode this is on. Have any of you heard this story and know what episode I can find it in? Thanks!

Did he happen to mention the premise of his story?

Doing a search for "dog"on This Life, yields 23 results.

This episode inspired the naming of that wacky-looking pasta implement the Pasta Batman in our household.

Also, I think it was originally broadcast in 2003.

RIP, Pasta Batman.

This was such a great story! I love the way the kids told it on TAL.

Can you find out what the gumball story was that the kids referred to but declined to elaborate about?

Response by poster: Thanks everyone, just played the piece for my coworkers who also know the dog's owner. Sounded like a good dog.

What a cute story. I hope Pasta Batman and my dear deceased cat Hazel Banana are friends in pet heaven.
