No. The conceit - that Wolfe cannot leave his house and has Archie do that for him - is hampered by modern technology. Several of the original stories would have been solved pretty quickly with access to cellphones.
Now, if you wanted to update it such that the part of Wolfe is played by a vaguely impersonal technological force, say a green website or message board where an unseen community of sleuths attempts to solve a problem based on information provided by the legmen, then maybe, but characterization may be kind of lacking.
